As a Senior QA Engineer, you will be the last barrier between bugs and production. You will work alongside engineers and product managers alike, you will deliver swiftly on QA requests and will communicate the results effectively. You will also work on establishing processes, tools and strategies to improve the QA setup and delivery.
What You'll Do:
Define, own, and evolve QA processes across manual and automated testing.
Build and maintain automated test suites for web/mobile/backend services.
Lead efforts in setting up quality gates in CI/CD pipelines.
Work closely with developers, and product managers to ship high-quality features.
Track and analyze quality metrics, bugs, regressions, and production issues.
Advocate for a culture of quality and drive continuous improvements.
Job requirements
What You'll Bring:
5+ years of professional experience in software QA, with at least 1-2 years in a senior role.
Proven experience with manual and automated testing
Strong knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions.
Scripting or coding skills in JavaScript, or Python for automation.
Familiarity with REST APIs, WebSockets, and testing tools like Postman
Ability to define and execute test plans, test cases, and bug reports
Experience with performance testing, regression testing, and load testing.
Experience with browser testing tools, mobile device testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Firebase Test Lab).
Excellent communication and collaboration skills — often working directly with devs, product, and design teams.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently.
A proactive mindset — taking initiative to improve testing processes and product quality.
Previous mentorship or leadership in a QA team is a bonus
