Your Responsibilities

  • Independently manage financial accounting including reviewing, coding, and posting transactions as well as maintaining prepaid expenses (ARAP)

  • Maintain and reconcile accounts, manage open items, and resolve discrepancies

  • Perform fixed asset accounting, including recording asset acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation

  • Support the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and local regulations

  • Assist in preparing reports and analyses for internal management reporting

  • Contribute to the optimization and digitization of accounting processes

  • Actively participate in building an internal accounting structure by transitioning bookkeeping from the external tax office, implementing DATEV, and migrating existing financial data

  • Be part of the Group Accounting team and contribute to financial accounting and coordination of accounting processes for our entities in Germany, Austria, and the UK in compliance with HGB and local regulations

  • Collaborate with Controlling, HR as well as external tax advisors and auditors

  • Support the integration of new entities and harmonization of processes and chart of accounts

Job requirements

What you will add to our Crew:

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification.

  • At least 3–5 years of professional experience in accounting.

  • Deep knowledge of HGB and experience in preparing financial statements.

  • Hands-on experience with DATEV Rechnungswesen and DATEV Unternehmen Online, ideally including system implementation.

  • Expertise in financial process optimization and automation, with strong process thinking and a digital mindset.

  • Fluent in both German and English (written and spoken).

  • Familiarity with LucaNet or similar consolidation tools is a plus.

  • Certification as Bilanzbuchhalter is a plus.
